C200 CONTROLLERS

The Elau C200 controller is the smallest controller solution from the last generation PacDrive M series. The C200 controller runs on the real-time operating system known as VxWorks. Motion and logic functions are provided from the VxWorks. The Elau VCA controller coordinates, synchronizes, and generates positioning for up to 8 axes. These axes are connected via the Sercos bus interface. Some field buses that are available on the C200 include, Profibus DP, CAN, CANopen, or DeviceNet. Various HMI systems can also be integrated with the Elau C200 controller. The PacDrive VCA controller runs on a ST-PC Vega chip and is powered by 128MB of RAM. The C200 uses the IEC 61131-3 programming languages for PLC and Motion Control. The VCA controller is a great solution for powering several drives and servo motors. The Elau C200 is compatible with the MC-4 drive and full line of SH servo motors.

C400 CONTROLLERS

 

The Schneider Electric PacDrive M C400 controller is the last generation programmable logic controller of this series. It is based on an Intel module processor which has processing power of 600 MHz with 256 MB of RAM. The ELAU C400 VCA runs on the VxWork real-time operating system which provides motion functions and logic for the packaging machines. The PacDrive controller synchronizes, generates, and coordinates positioning functions for up to 16 axis which are connected via Sercos. Several field bus interfaces that are available are: PROFIBUS DP, CAN, CANopen or DeviceNet. Varieties of HMI systems can be used, from low-cost text displays to industrial PCs. The programming language for the ELAU C400 controller is IEC 61131-3. The C400 VCA also has a Sercos interface and features Profibus DP, CAN, CANopen, DeviceNet, or Ethernet/IP. The PacDrive M controller also has analog, digital inputs, digital outputs, interrupt and touchprobe inputs. The communication interfaces for the C400 is RS 232, RS 485, Ethernet (TCP/IP).

C600 CONTROLLERS

 

The Elau C600 Controller is the largest controller from the last generation PacDrive M series. The C600 controller runs on a powerful Intel module processor that clocks in at 1.6 GHz and has 256 MB of RAM. The PacDrive C600 uses the real time VxWork architecture which provides logic and motion functions that helps the VCA system synchronize, coordinate and generate positioning features for the >99 servo drives (MC-4 Drives) which are connected via Sercos. The controller also features the IEC 61131-3 programming languages for PLC and Motion Control. The Elau C600 also has the capabilities of Profibus DP, CAN, CANopen, DeviceNet, or Ethernet/IP. The state of the art controller also contains Digital inputs, digital outputs, analog, interrupt and Touchprobe inputs and the RS 232, RS 485, Ethernet (TCP/IP) Communication interfaces.
